We are looking for an Employee relations managers in Abu Dhabi that are responsible for facilitating employee relations and resolving human resource issues on behalf of a company. As a branch of human resource management, they deal with everything related to employee and management relations and work to help employees and management understand each other. This is a collaborative position in the HR field, so people with a passion for creative conflict resolution and a knack for negotiation will thrive in this role. They are typically work full time during normal business hours and report to the head of the human resource department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Encouraging and training the employees to give their maximum output and meeting the standards of the company.
Supervising the behavioral problems of the employees and attending each employee to resolve it.
Attending extra workshops and sessions to know about the changes in the employment laws.
Promoting an orderly but friendly work environment to increase the productivity of the employees.
To ensure the fair treatment of employees and effective communication between employees and managers.
Determine the way employees conduct themselves in the workplace and address issues like drug and alcohol use, sexual harassment, and privacy. The employee relations manager is responsible for creating and enforcing these policies.
Listen to and address employee concerns to encourage a supportive atmosphere in the workplace. They resolve employee issues and handle complaints to protect the interests of all parties involved.
To have the skills to handle employees in all potential work scenarios.
Negotiations are another key duty. Employees often sign contracts that outline salaries and benefits, and employee relations managers facilitate the negotiation of these contracts between employees and management to come up with terms that please both sides.
Skills and Qualifications
Admirable experience in handling employee relations.
Wide knowledge of different HR policies and methods to implement them.
Profound knowledge of the employment policies and regulations imposed by the state and federal.
Familiarity with an industrial union environment
Should have a passion for working with diverse groups of people and a knack for problem-solving.
Often plays the role of counselor, mediator, and connector between the workforce and management, so strong interpersonal skills are essential to identify the needs of employees and management
To devise solutions to issues that arise in the workplace
Present information and bargain with managers and employees to reach contract terms that please both sides
Depend on the flow of information through the company. The ability to listen and understand people’s concerns is important for this position, as is the ability to provide answers to complex workplace questions
Need strong analytical skills to assess situations and make accurate observations in the workplace
